These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of MaterialPal (https://materialpal.com) and the calculators and content we provide (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

MaterialPal is free to use and requires no account. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the calculators for your own lawful purposes. You may share links to our pages freely, and you may embed a calculator using the embed code we provide.

2. Not professional advice

The calculators and content are provided for general informational purposes only and do not constitute engineering, construction or other professional advice. Please read our Disclaimer. Always confirm quantities with your supplier and follow local building codes.

3. Accuracy and availability

Our tools produce estimates based on your inputs and typical material yields and densities. We do not warrant that the Service will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or withdraw any tool at any time without notice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MaterialPal, its owners and contributors accept no liability for any loss or damage — direct, indirect or consequential — arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Service or any result it produces. You use the Service at your own risk.

The design, text, code, logos and original content of MaterialPal are owned by us and protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, republish or redistribute substantial parts of the site for commercial purposes without our written permission (embedding a single calculator via our provided code is permitted).

  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these Terms;
  • attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape at scale, or gain unauthorized access to the site;
  • copy or reverse-engineer the Service to create a competing product; or
